In the first quarter of 2021, city building games have shown diverse performance trends on the iOS platform in France, with data provided by Sensor Tower. Here's a look at how the top five games fared during this period.

SimCity BuildIt by Electronic Arts saw its weekly revenue fluctuating, peaking at roughly $20K in early March before dipping to around $15K towards the end of the quarter. Downloads followed a declining trend from 7.6K at the start of the period to 4.1K, while weekly active users decreased from approximately 58K to 50K.

The Simpsons™: Tapped Out, another title from Electronic Arts, experienced a revenue peak of around $14K in the first week of January, then saw a general decline to about $6K by the end of March. Downloads remained relatively stable, with a slight decrease from 5.2K to 2.7K, and active users saw a marginal drop from 84K to 76K.

For The Tribez: Build a Village by Game Insight, revenue started at a modest $813 and showed growth, reaching a peak of $3.4K in early March. Downloads showed a significant increase from 147 to 685 in the same week, with weekly active users growing from 745 to 1.3K.

Social Quantum's Megapolis: City Building Sim's revenue saw a mixed trend, peaking at $2.1K twice during the quarter. Downloads saw a peak of 2.3K in early March before declining, and active users had a high of 4.4K in the same period but ended the quarter at around 3.7K.

Lastly, Rise of the Roman Empire. Rome by Qumaron had an exciting quarter with revenue jumping from $486 to a high of nearly $6K in late March. Downloads also saw a significant spike in early March with 458, compared to the start of the quarter with 128. Weekly active users were not recorded for this game.
